Surviving SunFlowers

I've finally posted a photo, I hope everyone that sees it likes it. It was kind of one of those accident photos, so I guess I'll explain the story here. [Why not in the deviation though? xD;]

It was the only surviving sunflower after Hurricane Fay came through, all the other sunflowers in my backyard fell down D:. I really don't know how that one even survived, but it did and I'm glad. It was in full bloom after too so I figured I'd take a few photos of it to commemorate it for its 'courage'.

I'm sad that I won't be able to take more photos since school's coming around D;. But I haven't really been active on here anyways. Hopefully I can change that. But until then, stay safe and I hope you enjoy my photos.

...I really dislike this site D: You know something, all the shit I see on the ';popular' page, is this random lot of things. Some of it isn't even good while real photographs, good ones are being just shafted aside all because 'oh not enough people watch this one person'. Sure, some good photographs and drawers/painters get on the spotlight, some continually too. But really, what the fuck is this site :B, a popularity contest? It sure seems like it.

There's no point in posting any of my drawings up here because no one watches me, they suck anyways, my photographs are only up here because I have no where else to put them. But then again, the same thing happens with them.

OMG, I'm such a KHR junkie now xD;; It came on quick, but I even know the ';pairing codes' now. It's quite odd x3; ALSO, I've become a Jason Mraz fan, his songs are amazing. Perfect for summer. And during summer, since school's out, maybe now I can just focus on art.

I'm so close to finishing one piece, but the sunflowers in them are killer, a note to people wanting to paint/draw sunflowers, beware. They're a pain in the ass. I don't even care to do my drawing lists from now on, whatever comes out of my head is what comes out of my head. :B That, and I'm also looking forward to writing more. Oh god yes, a KHR 8059 fic is totally forming in my head, how sad.

Well happy summer everyone :] Hopefully I'll be pleased with the end product of my newest piece, I'll let you all rip it apart soon xD;.

P.S. - The Island Hilton Head has the most amazing food <-- Already on vacation.

Soon I'll be able to update more, soon, it'll be summer. Soon, my art won't suck anymore, I hope I can promise that xD. All I'm doing now is coloring lineart and trying to understand where the sun bounces off these pixel peoples' skin. But there's only so long I can stare at a computer screen. However, I've been gifted with an idea that I want to turn into some short little comic, will it happen? Probably not 8D! But summer is almost here.

OMG! I'm such a weaboo for AkuRoku Dx. What have I been doing on dA for god knows how long now? Just going around and favoriting shit X___X; Lo siento for not posting up anything in forever. I blame school and such. I must say though, I go back and look at my other drawings now and go, "They suck!" So yes, hopefully I'll be able to come back with something better to show off X___X; It'd be nice to get more than 3 hits per deviation... well I can dream I suppose. Luckily I've just been messing around in photoshop and such when I've had the time. I've done some drawings, tried to get better, don't think I really have, but I'm trying D:

I have an AP test tomorrow and then I have finals coming up, so I guess I'll have to wait until summer before I can really focus on drawing or something. I wish that I could have a pro art class planned sometime soon since I've heard about this school that gives them, yeah, public school art classes = the shit, and not in a good way. Well for now, I'll keep drawing things in hopes that when I come back and post I won't embarass myself by how horrible they are D;
